It is in any case what experimental branch is for.bug fixing.Īnd fyi.they use the Unreal Engine.not UnityĪnd fyi.they use the Unreal Engine.not Unity mixed it up I readjusted my plans and will only start playing when they move this build to the EA version. ![]() It is a bummer, but this will need time to fix. it looked ugly having them on only flat parts and you tend to need them more on ramps anyway. i was probably the ONLY one hyped about the first update 5 teaser. graphics do look a bit nice in the few minutes i have playing tho. i care about the fact i can make a factory now that isnt a plain ugly cube. i just wanna make a cool looking factory man. i can make tiny amounts of progress in the game by saving every 30 seconds but as you can imagine its torture. i tried restarting my pc and im even on DX11 its one of those shipping errors but i am actually able to load my game successfuly, it just crashes a few minutes later. the preformance is absolutley awful at this point i cant play 2 minutes without unity having a stroke and crashing the game. ![]() not to mention having to do a clean install via safe mode every time to ensure it works lol. I was pleasantly surprised at how painless basic maintenance is with G Force, with Adrenaline 2020 and up it was always a chore to update drivers. still have a ryzen chip but can't recall ever having cpu issues with AMD. at one point my buddy swapped me for this gtx 1650 super and most likely won't ever use AMD gpus again. ![]() upgraded to a rx 5800 and couldn't get the damn thing to work due to trash drivers and a massive blackscreen issue. I ran an AMD exclusive rig for years, i had constant issues during the majority of that time also. admittedly i didn't do enough research on Vulkan, really though i don't feel the need for it as i get great performance as is on my 1650 super. And btw, Nvidias 10xx cards are also way worse at utilizing DX12, AMD was just ahead with GPU features. Vulkan is a really good thing, regardless of whose GPUs youre using. Not to mention not being limited to certain OS'. Vulkan is based on tech developed by AMD, but thats long ago Vulkan itself was made as an open API that isnt limited by Microsofts' strategic decision, which had held back Direct X for a very long time.
